What Brings Me Here to SNHU?

Last year I attended Keene State College. Like this year, I studied Secondary Education with a concentration in English and ESOL. While Keene had a wonderful program, there was something missing from the school. It was a difficult and somewhat nerve wracking decision to transfer. What if I do not like the next school? What if I make a mistake? During my decision process I came across the quote, "The biggest mistake is to be too afraid to make one." I have no idea who wrote this and where I came across it, but it was what pushed me to make the move. Since then I have had to deal with many transitions. I now commute to school which can be challenging at times. I also run cross country for SNHU which is a huge time commitment. However, I believe this is where God wants me to be. I am going to trust that everything will work out and just enjoy the journey of achieving my dream career. Education 235 is a class I am very interested in. I am excited to learn more about how to use my materials in my future classroom. In today's world where technology is already so depended on, it is crucial to know how to incorporate it in the classroom. The class already seems completely different from what I am used to at Keene State. However, different can be seen as a positive in this case. Here's to a great first year at SNHU!
